Two people from IDRS attended the Native American Day at the Capitol on September 25, 2009. It was a great opportunity to talk to some other local Indian organizations. There were several booths with beautiful Native jewelery and crafts, and some great Native dancing.

IDRS Inc. is now comprised of three sections. Indian Dispute Resolution Services, Indian Development Resources & Services, and California Indian Child Welfare Association. Our Executive Director, Steven Haberfeld, Associate Director, Sonia Tamez, and our Business Manager, Mark Thompson take care of Mediation, Election and Trainings services. Sonia Tamez manages and oversees Indian Development Resouces & Services with Stephanie Lucero working directly with tribes and agencies in the Sierra Nevada and Michelle Desjarlais is taking over operations in the Southwest. Heather Zenone is the Policy Director for Cal-ICWA and she is assisted by Nanette Gledhill who consults on operations.
We will be attending the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) Conference in Palm Springs this fall. Feel free to discuss with us what IDRS can do for you.
